Renegade MMA Gear and Nevertap Fightwear are in talks surrounding a possible mutually beneficial business arrangement. Renegade MMA Gear is an emerging Florida based Mixed Martial Arts Gear retailer and manufacturer. Renegade’s president, Mark Beagle, is a martial arts school owner in West Pam Beach Florida. Beagle has been in the Martial Arts business many years and has been practicing Taekwondo, Ryuku Kempo and Hapkido for over 25 years. Renegade MMA Gear is Martial Arts Supply Company by “Martial Artists, for Martial Artists.” Renegade does not have its own line of apparel.
Nevertap Fightwear is owned by California resident Rick “The General” Cartwright. Nevertap has a strong presence on the west coast and Hawaii and is now branching out into Florida. Cartwright also has a long history in the martial arts and a passion for the Mixed Martial Arts sport and many years practicing Kung Fu.
Together Nevertap Fightwear and Renegade MMA Gear want to give the MMA Gear Retail giants a run for their money. The 2 companies offer official UFC Gloves, Assorted MMA Gloves, MMA Shorts, Rash Guards, MMA Shin Guards and other MMA Gear. Nevertap Fightwear carries a popular line of novelty T-Shirts and women’s wear. The Company is also releasing a new line of MMA Fightwear as well as Renegade MMA’s very own MMA Training Gloves.
“We’re each going to start on one side of the country and meet in the middle somewhere,” said Beagle. Both companies pride themselves on personal contact with their customers and fans and also bring to bear their many years of martial arts experience. They truly are MMA retailers “by Martial Artists, For Martial Artists!”
Tapout MMA Gear, History
May 27th

The trio equaling the TapouT Crew – Mask (RIP Charles), PunkAss and SkySkrape – are no strangers to the fanfare surrounding the infamous sport of MMA and are never too shy to strike their notorious poses with fight-frenzied fans. The TapouT Crew has been an important factor in the growth of this great sport, as can be seen through their various sponsorships, from fighters, to events, to The Ultimate Fighter reality series on Spike TV. As the premiere lifestyle brand of the MMA world, TapouT undoubtedly corners the competition- in and out of the octagon!
TapouT is an American business enterprise specializing in producing clothing and miscellaneous gear targeted at the mixed martial arts community, as well as a magazine devoted to mixed martial arts fighting (formerly Bodyguard magazine). Charles Lewis, Jr. (also known as “Mask”) and Dan Caldwell(also known as “PunkAss”) founded the company in 1997 in San Bernardino, California. On March 11, 2009 Charles Lewis, Jr. was killed in his Ferrari in a high-speed automobile collision in Newport Beach, California. The company is currently based in Grand Terrace. From a gross of $30,000 in 1999, TapouT’s earnings rose to $100 million in 2008. The company has a worldwide network of licensed retailers, including Dillard’s and Champs.
As the energy is escalating around the MMA culture, TapouT is taking on a life of its own with an attitude so American and Arrogant that the demand for the brand has gone global. “The TapouT phenomenon can’t be explained easily. TapouT is here to help bring the sport to its rightful place of world domination, and our products are just an extension of that,” says TapouT’s ringleader Mask. TapouT is the most recognized and fastest growing clothing line to come out of Mixed Martial Arts. The ubiquitous logo-blazen tee shirt that made TapouT a madhouse-hold name can now be purchased in over 20,000 retail stores worldwide (not including online), along with a full line of fighter gear, men’s, women’s, youth and accessories. Exciting, Cocky, Brilliant! That is what’s being screamed about TapouT!
